Tonia was diagnosed with this dreadful illness towards the end of 2004. She is still very much with us and remains the life and soul of any get together. Very rarely does this disease get her down and the time she spends time looking into the many different research projects that are ongoing gives her hope that an effective treatment is close at hand.
